Food has calories that are changed into the energy we need to fuel out body, this word is the term – Metabolism.Any calories that haven’t been changed into energy become fat.The speed at which food is converted into energy is different for each person.Some bodies are much more competent at converting calores from food into energy hence the reason they don’t gain weight even when they have lots of food.

Don’t worry though, not all is lost because there are ways you can boost your metabolism.Now if we do this, more of the food is then burned for energy and less is put into body fat.Here are three easy ways you can boost your metabolism.

1.  Definitely always have breakfast.

This is something you’ve probably heard before, but it’s true.Skipping breakfast is something lots of people do which is a real shame if they are attempting to lose weight.Your metabolism is kick-started with breakfast.  It also provides the energy you need without having to resort to junk food.

2.  Best to eat less but more often.

The body will slow down the metabolism if you go more than three hours without eating as it thinks food is scarce.To help the metabolism to speed up the advice is to eat about six times a day.Snacking is o.k.!  However, don’t eat the junk food, the six small meals should be mainly lean meat, complex carbohydrates green veges and fruit.

3.  Fidget  a Lot!

Let’s take another look at those high-metabolism, lean folk.Where’s all the extra energy going from all that food he/she is converting? Research suggests that fidgeting burns the extra energy and naturally thin people tend to fidget a lot. .Watch them, even when they’re sitting down, they are rarely still.Watch them and try to copy them.  Each time you’re sitting try to multitask a bit by moving your feet and legs.

This is just a start to boosting your metabolism and losing weight.
