<p>Stress can get the best of us. It can dampen our spirits and affect the mood. It pushes us to binge and do unhealthy things sometimes. If you noticed that you can&#8217;t concentrate anymore, it&#8217;s time to do something to boost your energy levels.</p>
<p>First thing recommended is meditation. Take time to tap your inner power and free your mind from worldly cares. Calm your mind, soothe your senses and relax. This will make you regain focus to tackle more tasks later on.</p>
<p>Sleep adequately. You know how many hours of sleep your body needs to regain strength so get enough of it every night. If you really need to stay up late because of things that you can&#8217;t postpone to do, then get cat naps during the day. </p>
<p>Exercise regularly. This is an energy booster as well. The more the body gets used to the physical activity, the more energy you gain. This will keep you up and about the whole day.</p>
<p>Add up on the energy foods. Include in your diet the following: oatmeal, coffee, lentils, water, bananas, sardines, chocolate, steak, almond and yogurt. Every time you need a boost, have a cup of coffee or snack up on nuts. Soon you&#8217;ll be on your toes and performing at your peak again.</p>
<p>Laugh a lot. Laughing make us feel good because this activity releases endorphins, a compound responsible for giving us the feeling of well being. Remember the adage &#8220;laughter is the best medicine?&#8221; It can really make you live longer. </p>

<p>Have you read anything about Russian Kettlebells?  I read a short article in Reader&#8217;s Digest about Katherine Heigl and she says she gets her body in such great shape with kettlebell training.</p>
<p>She does it 3 times a week for only 20 minutes a day.</p>
<p>Even though I&#8217;ve lost about 17 pounds through eating better, I am not in the greatest shape.  So I want to lose about another 20 pounds and be close to my high school football weight.  </p>
<p>I bought one of these kettlebells at Academy for $55 and I was skeptical.  </p>
<p>How could just swinging a 25 or 35 pound kettlebell be one of the best fat burning pieces of equipment you can buy?  Why do Russian Special Forces swear by them?</p>
<p>Just do a minute or two of power swings and you will soon realize what all the fuss is about.  I was huffing and puffing in less than a minute.  The secret is the momentum created by swinging the kettlebell.  It&#8217;s similar to resistance training.</p>
<p>I was out of breath in a few minutes and my heart was pounding.  I had to stop because my thighs and abs were burning.  The good kind of burning you get when you know you are really working out.</p>
<p>It wasn&#8217;t until the second day after doing kettlebell exercises that I really felt the results of swinging that kettlebell.  My thighs were all sore and it felt good.  I got a small sense of pride knowing that I was doing something good for my body.  </p>
<p>Pretty soon my body will start to look like Katherine Heigl&#8217;s.  Just without the big boobs!  <img src='http://www.losetenlbs.com/lose-weight/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif' alt=':o' class='wp-smiley' /> )</p>
