Which weight loss product should you buy?

If you want to lose weight and that includes most of us, even me, then how do you decide which weight loss program to buy? There are so many choices, each offering a guaranteed way to help you lose 10 pounds, 20 pounds, or 30 pounds fast.

But how do you decide which one will work for you?

You have to find a program that fits into your habits or that can change your habits effectively.

Many programs work though. That’s not the problem. If you use the Bowflex and eat better, you will lose the weight and looked ripped like the people you see on TV. If you use the Biggest Loser Club and follow through with it, you will lose the weight.

The problems people have losing weight is not the program, it’s us and our lack of dedication, motivation, effective time management and lack of clear goal setting.

If you procrastinate too much then start with procrastination.

If you need motivation then start with motivation.

If you need to manage your time better to find time to workout then start with effective time management.

If you don’t know how to set goals and stick with them, start with goal setting.

Or let’s say you have motivation and you know how to set goals but you just don’t want to exercise or eat better. Or don’t know what to eat. Then learn about eating better. Or learn how to love exercising.

Once you have the right motivation with the right goals and effective time management then any sensible program you choose will help you lose 10 pounds in no time, get healthy and keep that weight off.

I love this DVD! Bob Harper is so inspiring and motivates you to keep going. You can choose your own workout intensity level and exercise at your own pace…and I love working out with some of my “favorites” from “The Biggest Loser.” This workout DVD is a “must have”!

I’ve never been a fan of DVD workouts, but…

…after watching The Biggest Loser show and seeing the results the contestants had, I’d be a fool not to at least try it! I ordered the DVD, and, within 2 weeks, had already lost 7 pounds. I’m a person who’s slightly over their BMI, so, those last 15-20 pounds are a killer! However, with Bob, I’m headed in the right direction. The dvd is fun, challenging and creates results. Cardio is a Waste of Time for Fat Loss

While the mainstream fitness media still insists that aerobic exercise is a great way to lose weight, Turbulence Training users know that interval training is the better way to burn body fat.

Still not convinced?

A recent study published by the North American Association for the Study of Obesity, subjects aged 40 to 75 were instructed to do 60 minutes of aerobic exercise per day for 6 days per week for an entire year.

Given the amount of exercise, you’d expect weight losses of 20, 30 pounds, or more, right?

Well, the surprise findings showed the average fat loss for female subjects was only 4 pounds for the entire year, while men lost 6.6 pounds of fat over the year. That’s over 300 hours of aerobic exercise just to lose a measly 6 pounds of blubber. Not time well spent, in my opinion.

So what’s the better way? Stick with Turbulence Training, using interval training and strength training to get better bodysculpting results. With intervals, you’ll achieve more fat burning results in less workout time.

The next time you are out exercising, perform a session of interval training. If you are walking or running outside, find an incline that can challenge you for 60 seconds, then walk down for 60-120 seconds, and repeat up to 6 times.

If you walk or run on a treadmill, adjust the incline or speed to safely increase the challenge for 60 seconds, then return to the normal pace for 60-120 seconds, and repeat up to 6 times.

You can also use a rowing machine, bicycle or stationary bike, or even an elliptical machine to do intervals.

But whatever you do, stay away from boring, ineffective cardio exercise workouts and stick with Turbulence Training for your fat burning program.

Burn 100 more calories a day and lose 10 pounds

If eating and cutting back on your favorite foods seems too hard, another way to address getting those pounds off is to work off an extra 100 calories each day.


If you combine both eating 100 fewer calories a day and exercise 100 more calories a day, you could lose about 20 pounds a year!

How to lose 10 pounds at work

Since most of us sit in a cubicle or desk all day, it may be hard or we think it is hard to exercise and lose weight.

Here are some cubicle exercises that can help you lose 10 pounds:

CUBICLE WORKOUTS



A few quick exercises you can do in your cubicle:

•Wrist/forearm
stretch: Press your hands together in front of your chest, elbows bent
and parallel to the floor. Bend your wrists to the right and left.

•Leg extension: Sit in your chair, with your abs in. Extend your left leg until level with your hip. Hold for 2 seconds.

•Hip flex: Sit in your chair, lift left foot off the floor a few inches, knee bent. Hold for 2 seconds.

•Front
raise: Sit in your chair, abs in and spine straight. Hold water bottle
in right hand, raise arm up to shoulder level. Hold 2 seconds.

•Inner thigh: Place your full water bottle between you knees, keep abs in, and squeeze bottle gently.

•Chair squat: Periodically while sitting, lift your butt off the seat and hover over your chair for 2 to 3 seconds.

•Dips:
Make sure your chair is stable and place your hands next to your hips.
Move your hips in front of the chair and bend your elbows, lowering
your body until elbows are at 90 degrees.

•Abs: Sit on the edge
of your chair with your arms in front of you. Keep your back straight,
contract abs and slowly lower your torso toward the back of your char.
Hold for 2-3 seconds.
