Free report: The 7 Biggest Dieting Scams, Lies, and Myths…

Hello-

Do you often find yourself doing everything “right”… but STILL gaining (or not losing) weight?

For years, I was the same way (even 100 pounds overweight). Until I learned better…

See… the problem is, there are a LOT of myths in the dieting world right now.

Think about it. “Fat free” and “low fat” products rule grocery store shelves… new weight loss products sprout up by the second… and there’s always an infomercial promoting the newest weight loss fad.

Americans spent $33 BILLION in the weight loss industry last year. Yet the country is getting progressively fatter… and 1 out of 2 Americans are on a diet at any given time.

It Doesn’t Make Sense.

Click to find out “The 7 Biggest Dieting Scams, Lies, and Myths” Download this free report: download it here

The fact is… People are spending more and more time and money on their diets… yet they’re gaining more weight than ever before.

I’m here to tell you that this isn’t by accident. Not at all. In fact, it’s part of a carefully calculated plan by high-powered people so they continue to make money.

Now let me forewarn you… by the time you’re done with this, you might feel a little angry, outraged, or even foolish. So I want to make sure you know, It’s Not Your Fault!

In today’s age, there’s so much information going around… that you NEED to take shortcuts. If you tried to research every little thing you heard about, you’d have no time to even sleep!

So you’re forced to listen to other people. The media. What weight loss industry representatives will peddle you. And unfortunately, unscrupulous marketers will tell you anything they think you want to hear – even outright lies – so they can continue making money off of your ignorance.
This ends up leaving a lot of people disillusioned, upset, and thoroughly confused.

And fat.

I want to do something about this. I want to tell the world what most people don’t have the guts to. And you’re going to find it… right here, for free, in this report.

So, let’s get started… Download the free report “The 7 Biggest Dieting Scams, Lies, and Myths…”

How much faith do you put in your BMI numbers?

Feb 28 2008 Published by Lose 10 Pounds under lose 10 pounds, weight loss story

Hello-

I was checking out manageweightloss.com yesterday and put in my numbers for my height and weight to get my BMI, body mass index, and it said I was obese. I weigh 245 pounds and am 6 foot 1. This is down from my high of 265 right after my divorce 3 years ago.

I don’t think I am obese. I may be overweight but would not consider myself obese. I put in some other numbers to see what would be considered ideal for me and I was surprised. I put in 225, losing 20 pounds, and it said I was in the top range of the overweight section. I ran it again at 200 and still overweight, it wasn’t until I entered 185 that I was finally in the normal range. 60 more pounds to lose and I would be considered normal.

I have to disagree with that. I have a large frame with broad shoulders and I would look awkward if I lost another 60 pounds. Losing 20 pounds would probably be the best for me. That would put me back at my high school football weight with a much smaller belly.

Did you know that most professional athletes would also be considered overweight and obese? Something’s wrong with that picture. Tim Duncan weighs 260 pounds and is 6′ 11. His BMI is 26.5 which puts him at overweight. You’d have a hard time convincing me that Timmy was overweight.

What do you think? What are your BMI numbers and do you put a lot of weight in them? You can check them here with a free BMI calculator. Leave me a comment and let me know.

Thanks and have a great day!

Lose 10 pounds in 2008

Hello-

Re: How to lose 10 pounds in 2008

Can you believe how fast this year has gone by? They all seem to move faster with each passing year.

How did you do this year on your weight loss goal? Did you lose the few pounds you said you were going to lose at the beginning of 2007? What happened? How far did you make it into the year before you stopped working out and eating healthier? How many times did you make it to the gym before you stopped going?

Losing weight is not easy. If it was, there would be no obesity epidemic in America. It’s the same thing with getting rich. If making money was easy, we would all be doing it and not having to work so hard. The ads on TV or online want us to believe that losing fat is easy – take one pill a day and watch the pounds melt away. Sound familiar? I see the same ads all the time.

But, you can lose weight. You can lose 10 pounds in a year – with a little bit of effort. It does not take much. If you set a goal of losing ten pounds in a year – that’s less than 1 pound a month. To achieve that, all you need to do is eat 3500 less per month – that’s 117 calories a day. You would be surprised at how little that is. You do not have to give up all your favorite foods to cut out 100 calories a day from your diet.

Or, you can just start walking or exercising to burn those extra 100 calories. You can eat all the same, you do not have to change your diet, all you have to do is add exercise to your day and in one year’s time, 10 pounds will be gone.

How sexier will you look 10 pounds lighter? I like people checking me out and asking if I’ve lost weight. It makes me feel good and puts a smile on my face. I still need to lose a few more pounds but I’m happy with the pounds I’ve lost.

You can feel better about yourself by making a small modification to your life – eat 100 less calories a day or burn an extra 100 calories a day by exercising and you will lose 10 pounds in 2008 guaranteed.

Here’s to a slimming, healthy, happy, prosperous New Year!

The Biggest Loser Workout Reviews:

A Must Have!

I love this DVD! Bob Harper is so inspiring and motivates you to keep going. You can choose your own workout intensity level and exercise at your own pace…and I love working out with some of my “favorites” from “The Biggest Loser.” This workout DVD is a “must have”!

I’ve never been a fan of DVD workouts, but…

…after watching The Biggest Loser show and seeing the results the contestants had, I’d be a fool not to at least try it! I ordered the DVD, and, within 2 weeks, had already lost 7 pounds. I’m a person who’s slightly over their BMI, so, those last 15-20 pounds are a killer! However, with Bob, I’m headed in the right direction. The dvd is fun, challenging and creates results. I worked with a personal trainer for over 8 months and never felt as good as I do after working out with Bob Harper. I’m now firm, my cardio is great, and my self-esteem has sky-rocketed!

Lose 40 pounds in 3 months like Courtney Love

Courtney Love reportedly lost over 40 pounds in just three months by putting a lock on her fridge.

courtney love - lose 40 pounds fast

The 44-year-old star bolted her fridge and gave the key to her housekeeper in a bid to help her stick to the strict diet.

She told Britain’s Grazia magazine, “I was at a charity event and my friend Sting said to me ‘Why don’t you do a body transformation?’ I was about to start working on a new album and I was feeling experimental. It made me wonder what it would be like to be skinny.

“But it was hard. It’s like kicking drugs.”

Courtney’s tough dieting regime includes two meal-replacement milkshakes a day for breakfast and lunch followed by steamed fish and vegetables for dinner.

The diet has helped the actress-and-singer to lose 51lbs since Christmas and Courtney now weights 137 pounds.

Courtney says she has no intention of losing any more weight and admits she gets fed up when her Hollywood friends say they need to slim down.

She said, “I was out to dinner with Gwyneth Paltrow and Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth said, ‘I’m fat.’ I was like, ‘I’m going to smack you. Shut up.’

“The first time I met Gwyneth I was really nasty to her because I was jealous. I felt inadequate.

“But I will never be a size zero because my ribs are too big. I also have a pretty big head so I wouldn’t look right. If I got under 120lbs that would be a problem – I’d start looking like a crazy person.”

Lose 138 pounds in 7 months

Lose 138 pounds in 7 months

Joanne Illingworth.

Before and after pictures of woman who lost 10 stones or 138 pounds in 7 months.

Here’s how she did it:

AT 20 and a half stones, Joanne Illingworth couldn’t tie her own shoelaces.

But what really made her change her non-stop eating and lack of exercise was when doctors warned her she might never see her daughter grow up.

The 29-year-old had dangerously high blood pressure and was at risk of a stroke — and turned to a clinic she had read about in the YEP.

Seven months later she has lost 10 stones, dropped from a size 26 to a size 12 and is closing in on her target weight of 10 stones.

She is now looking forward to a new life filled with activities she could never do before — like swimming and horseriding with daughter Nadia, three, and scuba diving with her brother.

Joanne, who is 5ft 6ins and works at Ecotex textile recycling in Batley, said: “I feel ecstatically happy sometimes that I’m normal, that I’m not at risk of ill health in years to come.

“I want to do lots of different things that I never did before because I was so big.

“It stopped me doing a lot of things.

Even getting in and out of the bath and walking up and down stairs at home was hard.”

She said: “I looked at my life and my daughter and thought, ‘I don’t want to die’.”

She signed up with the Cosmetic Medical Clinic, Rothwell, Leeds, and since September has been following a strict meal-replacement system with treatments to help break down fat and help the skin spring back into shape.

She went on her first diet at 14, when she was already around 13 stones and went on to try Slimming World, WeightWatchers, the Atkins Diet, slimming patches, sprays and pills.

On holiday last summer she could barely squeeze into the plane seat, needed an extension to her seatbelt, then spent most of the week in her room, too embarrassed to be seen in swimwear.

She has now been so successful at losing weight the clinic is using her to advertise its new London branch.

The treatment can cost up to £200 a week.
