Give Your Weight Loss Story a Happy Ending

Where do you want your weight loss story to go? In a perfect world losing weight would not be a problem. Getting the type of body that you really want would do wonders for your health and your happiness.
Stories such are these are far and few between, many peoples weight loss stories end sadly. The common story is of people trying numerous methods of losing weight, but never succeeding in their goals for any length of time.
Your weight loss story is probably similar to many others:
You go on a diet
You cut down on your calorie intake
You try to eat healthier foods
You begin to do some exercise
You start to notice that some weight has started to disappear
It seems to be more difficult to continue
The results begin to get slower
The results stop appearing
You start to put the weight back on again
You get frustrated
You try another diet
Does this sound familiar? Unfortunately for many people who want to lose weight, this is very familiar. So what is the answer?
First of all you will need to stop thinking that dieting is the only answer to your weight problems. Obviously your diet has had an impact on what your body looks like at the present. Too much is written about diet and there is not the same focus on exercise. Your body is designed to be active. The human body was not designed for dieting.
When you put fuel into a car, it will oonly burn if the car moves. Your body is just the same. You need to use the fuel that you put into it. Continually putting fuel into your body without using it will result in overflow, for us this means fat. You need to be engaged in physical activities to burn this fuel.
Looking back into the past shows us that obesity was a rarer condition. This happened because many people were forced to be far more active. This was necessary and there was very little in the way of choice. Peoples jobs involved more physical effort, and they spent a lot more time walking. People never ate healthier, they just had to move more.
You don't need to get rid of your car or start working down a coal mine. The physical activities of the past have to be replaced by other forms of physical activity. If you want your weight loss story to have a happy ending, it will mean exercise. Sure, eat healthier, but crank up your physical activities.
This doesn't mean that you should go hell for leather in the gym. What it does mean that you have to steadily increase what you do over a period of time. If you stick to doing the same all the time, then you will not improve your results. Then you become confused as to why the weight loss has stopped.
Your body can do so much more than you might think. It will not be easy, but all rewards come with the accomplisment of difficult goals. It all depends how much you want it and if you want a happy ending to your weight loss story.
