Everyone wants to learn how to lose 10 pounds without doing much work. Most people would like to lose 10 lbs overnight if they could.
You can lose pounds quickly by not eating and drinking and lose a bunch of water weight. But once you start eating and drinking again you’ll gain it all back and more.

But when you starve yourself you lose muscle and not fat. Muscle is much more valuable than fat. Muscle is what burns calories and fat.

What you need to do is figure out how much of you is fat and how much of you is lean muscle. You can do this using a skin caliper, a body fat analyzer, or a water weighing tank. Of these three options, using a body fat anayler is the most convenient in terms of cost and time.

Using a body fat scale will give you your body fat percentage. From there you can work on lowering your body fat.
