The search for healthy food choices among today’s consumers is catapulting the market for organic and natural foods to new heights with annual sales for 2006 estimated to top $30 billion.
The natural market, once believed to be driven almost exclusively by environmentalists and those pursuing a holistic lifestyle, is now comprised primarily of consumers choosing natural options based on a pure desire for a more healthy lifestyle, focused on quality nutrition and overall wellness.
In response to the trend towards more healthy food choices, Omaha Steaks’ A La Zing line, long at the forefront of the $170 billion dollar home meal replacement market, recently added a new line of all natural complete meals to its current line of more than 50 easy-to-prepare meal options.

Omaha Steaks’ A La Zing line of natural meals provides time-pressed Americans with natural, nutritious and easy-to-prepare meal options.
The new line offers nine entrees ranging from Chile Chicken Caribbean with Mango Salsa to BBQ Baby Back Pork Ribs and includes three vegetarian meals including Roasted Vegetable Lasagna and Tortellini Alfredo.
The new line of natural complete meals was launched in response to interest among the Omaha-based company’s core customers – people familiar with its worldwide reputation for culinary excellence.
A La Zing, introduced in February of 2001 with 22 entrees, now offers more than 50 complete meals, 25 side dishes and sauces and an assortment of appetizers and desserts.
Like all Omaha Steaks and A La Zing products, the new natural meals can be ordered online, by mail and by phone for direct delivery nationwide.
