A large portion of our society has an ongoing battle with their weight. No matter how hard they try, they simply can not seem to lose the extra pounds. For some it is genetic. They are fat by hereditary reasons. Some people are naturally slim and no matter what they eat, they never seem to put on weight.

One should strive to be lean and thin since many health problems are directly related to weight. What do you do to get rid of these extra calories? Should one stop eating and go on a strict diet? Does it really help? Some of us cannot diet and just cannot resist the temptation to eat.

One could also try out gree tea diet by having about five cups of green tea instead of the normal tea that you have regularly. It is believed that five cups of green tea a day helps you lose 70-80 calories a day.

One pound of fat equals roughly 3500 calories, so reducing your daily intake by 70-80 calories means you could lose that amount of fat in about 45 days. In order to lose weight you must maintain a habit of making healthy food choices and getting regular exercise. Adopt dieting as a long-term lifestyle, not a short-term solution where you change the way you eat for brief period and then return to your former habits.
