<p>Yes, I know that may be a bit over the top. But maybe you’ll understand if I tell you that diet soda was brought to Earth by enemy aliens who are determined to turn our bodies into blobs of jelly and our minds into mutant mush.</p>
<p>How tricky this diet pop can be. Here are a couple of examples of its devious ways.</p>
<p>First off, diet pop has fewer calories than the sugary stuff, so people watching their weight drink the diet soda thinking they are doing themselves a favor.</p>
