Learn How To Spot Reduce and Drop Only Belly Fat

help change your body

Yep, it’s very exciting and I know you’re very curious so I’ll get right into it!

To perform this technique, you’re going to need two rolls of duct tape, 3 triple cheeseburgers, a set of jumper cables and a cheese log…

Ok, you’re going to hate me for this…

The truth is there really IS no top-secret hidden technique for spot reducing and burning just the fat from your stomach area. I wrote that headline in hopes that you would read far enough to learn the TRUTH about how your body burns fat and WHERE it burns fat from.

And honestly, this type of question is one of THE most frequently asked questions I hear…

“How do I lose fat from just my [insert area here]?”

Bottom line is, you can’t. And even those stupid creams and lotions won’t do it (one of these days I swear I’m going to get one of those creams and put it only on the left side of my abs and not the right and see what happens…I’m sure I’ll have a shredded 3 pack within a matter of days).

To burn fat from any one place in your body, you’re going to have to burn fat from EVERYWHERE ELSE, too. There’s no getting around it.

I like to use the analogy of a filling and draining a swimming pool.

When you’re filling up a swimming pool (the pool is your total amount of body fat), the deep end fills up first, right? Then the shallow end fills up as the water level comes up.

Basically, the deep end can be compared to the areas where you tend to put on your fat FIRST. The shallow end is where you put on fat LAST.

When you go to lose fat, it’s time to look at the swimming pool again…when you drain the swimming pool, it’s impossible to drain water from just the deep end! It drains from the whole pool at once…you can see it in the shallow end first, THEN the deep end last.

So basically (and fairly depressingly!), the fat you want to get rid of FIRST is the fat that’s going to most likely come off LAST. To burn just stomach fat (or thigh fat or the fat on your back), you’d have to figure out a way to work around the entire system your body uses for fat storage.

Sticking a vacuum into your belly with surgery is one way to do it – taking useless pills like Acai Berry definitely WON’T do it, no matter how many “simple rules” you follow (in that case, the simple rule is “give us all your money so you can’t afford food anymore” – I guess that one actually WILL work).

And that’s not even all your options for losing stomach fat…

1. Starvation dieting – this is easily THE best way to lose fat…of course, it’ll be mostly muscle, which will send your metabolism into a nosedive, which will make it harder to continue to lose weight, which will make it easier to REGAIN weight, which will keep that lovely stomach fat firmly where you left it, even though the precious scale shows a smaller number…oops, somebody changed the setting on it…you actually weigh more now…nevermind.

2. Diet pills – pretty much all of these will work for you, especially the ones that say you can eat anything you want and still lose weight (just make sure you’re never more than 15 feet from a bathroom). You know the makers of these supplements are only interested in your success and health, after all! And don’t forget, the heart is a muscle and the faster it goes, the more calories you burn, right! Who wouldn’t want to have their heart-rate up in the “training zone” while they’re sleeping…this is efficiency!

3. High Impact Aerobics For Beginners – the good news is, soft tissue injuries require a LOT of calories to heal up, so bust out those Step Tae Bosu Dance tapes and go nuts!

Okay, let’s move on to some of the more “radical” stuff ;)

1. Eating natural, wholesome foods – what a crock! The only thing anybody has ever lost from eating this garbage is fat. Oh, hold on…

2. Weight training – even more useless than good nutrition, weight training is something to stay away from. All it will do is build muscle mass and increase your metabolic rate. Total bull.S. Same with interval training…it’s just the worst.

3. Supplementing with vitamins, minerals, protein – I know…I can’t make this stuff up! Some people actually USE these things to support their nutrition while eating natural foods and training with weights for fat loss. I guess their quack doctors wouldn’t write out a prescription for Orlistat or Xenical or something like that.

So bottom line, fat loss isn’t rocket science…just don’t eat anything at all (especially healthy stuff), take a lot of pills and flail around for hours until you really hurt yourself.

There is plenty of good information on fat loss available online…just don’t be fooled into thinking you lose it ONLY from your stomach!

How to lose love handles

Dec 06 2009 Published by Lose 10 Pounds under lose 10 pounds

One of the most common areas of the body that build up fat are the love handles. One of the reasons for this is that fat from this area is harder to work off. This can be really hard. The following article will give you some basic tips to get you started on ridding yourself of those love handles.

For a more detailed article check out: Get Rid of Love Handles

Avoid Sugar and Fat:

The love handle area is likely to increase in size before other areas as it is a common fat storage area.

Because of this you will need to keep an eye on your food intake. Avoid the foods that are just too fatty like Junk food etc. You shouldn’t deny yourself the foods you want but just have everything in moderation.

Cardio:

Cardio exercises like swimming or rowing are a great way to keep your excess energy being stored as fat. Exercise is a good activity to maintain as it keeps you healthy and you also feel great after it.If you are stressed out then regular exercise will reduce your stress levels.

Don’t be afraid of the dumbells:

Weight lifting should be a part of your exersice plan. Bigger muscles = Increased fat burning = Smaller lover handles. You should lift weights at least 3 times a week. Start of slow and add more as you improve. Give it a couple of weeks and you will start seeing some physical improvements.

Work on your abs and hips:

Unfortunately you cannot decide where your body burns fat from first but if your overall energy expenditure is greater than your energy intake then you should see results. Exercises for your core muscle groups like abs and hips will give you a good base for other workouts. Workouts that concentrate on your hips like bends and knee lifts are a good way to build muscle mass in those areas.

Keep on, keeping on:

Consistency is key here, the most perfect workout routine won’t help if you give up after a little while. Accept that it will take a while to lose your love handles but it will happen if you stay on track. The most appealing option to you will be giving in. Why? Because your brain doesn’t like your body working harder than it has to but it doesn’t know that you are trying to lose you love handles on purpose. To keep on track you can do some simple things like write out your goals and read them every day or put a picture of your dream body on your wall so you can remind yourself of your goals.

A lot of us have to deal with love handles but if you want to abolish them you have to realise that it will require some time and effort on your part but the end result will be more than worth it.
