“I started running with a partner and we’ve become the best of friends,” she said.

“We motivate each other and if one of us is having a bad day, one pushes the other and vice versa,” she said.

After a run, even a bad day can be turned around, she said.

“When I’ve had one of my worst days and I go out for a run, it clears my head and it feels like you lose 10 pounds,” she said. “The weight is lifted off your chest and it puts you in a better mood.”
